Canteen

The Lantern is a portable light source that emits a strong radius of light around the player while consuming Battery Charge when turned on. It can be recharged at a Charging Station, with a Field Battery, or by using a Charging Pad. Unlike fixed light sources, it can be placed on the floor or on any flat surface such as a table, and it can be toggled on and off as needed.

When placed, the Lantern does not consume Battery Charge, which makes it especially useful for lighting very dark areas without worrying about power drain. This makes it a practical navigation tool for night travel and for keeping work areas visible during extended trips away from base.

• A Lantern placed on the floor gives roughly twice the range of a Standing Lamp.
• It cannot be painted to change the color of the light it produces.
