Radiation Vest

The Radiation Vest is a wearable item found in several late-game research and reactor areas. It appears as part of exploration loot rather than a crafted progression item, and its placement clusters around hazardous facilities where radiation-related equipment and personnel are present.

It can be found in the following locations:

• Hydroplant: at the beginning of the area, in a room with large white and blue pipes.
• Cascade Laboratories: on Level 3 in Adjustment, near a Dr. Manse hologram, near the Quantum Exchanger that trades Silver Scrap for Refined Carbon, and upstairs near some kitchen cabinets; also in the Control Center; and on Level 2 in Containment, in a locker room near Dr. Peters.
• Reactors: in the Dusk Reactor area, in a laboratory on the second level where Dr. Suan Tengku is; and in the Gale Reactor area, both at the bottom of the reactor area and in a room near a curved corridor with Office Stools and nearby Vending Machines.

Because it is tucked into multiple high-security zones, the Radiation Vest is best treated as a collectible to watch for while clearing laboratory, containment, and reactor wings rather than something obtained from a single fixed progression point.
