Overview

Conveyor Balancer I is a conveyor-related building used to manage material flow by prioritizing either an input, an output, or both at once. Its key feature is the set of interactable switches on the front and back of the tunnel, which let the player change how the balancer handles traffic through the line.

This makes it a flexible routing piece rather than a simple pass-through segment. By adjusting the switches, you can decide whether the balancer should favor incoming material, favor outgoing material, or allow both directions to be prioritized together. In practice, this gives you finer control over where items are pulled from and where they are sent, which is useful when one part of a conveyor network needs to be served ahead of another.

  • Use the front and back switches to set the desired priority behavior.
  • Select input priority when you want the balancer to favor pulling material into the line.
  • Select output priority when you want the balancer to favor delivering material out of the line.
  • Select both when you want priority handling on both sides at the same time.

Because the controls are built directly into the tunnel, Conveyor Balancer I can be adjusted after placement without replacing the structure. This makes it suitable for conveyor layouts that need occasional reconfiguration as production changes.
