Bamboo Tree

Bamboo Tree is a plant that grows naturally in the Fishian Biome in the Deep Swamp Caves. It produces Bamboo and Bamboo Saplings when harvested.

Bamboo Tree can also be grown by planting Bamboo Saplings on terrain tiles. A sapling will only grow into a Bamboo Tree if there is at least one tile of space between it and any other object, so crowded planting areas will prevent it from maturing.

Because it appears naturally in the Deep Swamp Caves, Bamboo Tree is mainly encountered while exploring that biome, but it can be farmed once Bamboo Saplings are obtained. This makes it useful as a renewable source of Bamboo and more saplings for expanding a plantation.

• Plant Bamboo Saplings with enough open space around them; adjacent objects block growth.
• Harvesting a mature Bamboo Tree yields both Bamboo and Bamboo Saplings, allowing replanting without needing to find new wild trees.
• Since it spawns naturally in the Fishian Biome, it is tied to exploration of the Deep Swamp Caves before it becomes a practical farm crop.
