Cave Birch Tree

The Cave Birch Tree is a plant that grows naturally in the Deep Plains Caves. It produces Birch Logs when harvested and can also yield Cave Birch Saplings, allowing it to be replanted elsewhere.

Cave Birch Saplings can be planted on terrain tiles to grow new trees. For successful growth, a sapling must have at least one tile of space between itself and any other object; if it is placed too close to another object, it will not grow into a Cave Birch Tree.

Because it appears in the Deep Plains Caves, the tree is tied to underground exploration and local resource gathering. Players who want a steady supply of Birch Logs can collect saplings from existing trees and replant them in open areas to establish a renewable source.
