Small Light

Small Light is a utility building that provides a buff to ratizens who pass by it. It illuminates not only the tile directly below it, but also the two adjacent tiles on either side, so its effective coverage is wider than a single square. Because the effect is triggered simply by walking past, it is especially useful in places where many ratizens move through the same route.

A common use is to place Small Light next to a Lift Station. Since ratizens pass through that area frequently, even one Small Light can apply its buff to a large number of people over time. For that reason, it works best on busy travel paths rather than in isolated spots where few ratizens will ever cross. Its value comes from repeated traffic, so positioning matters more than placing many of them at once.
