Hermit Crab is a creature that lives in the Sea biome. It is mainly valued as an ingredient for Pasta, making it one of the seafood sources tied to food production rather than a general-purpose material.

Although Hermit Crab is difficult to hunt, it has high stats and should be handled by a fully grown A_Ratizen when being pursued. Even so, it is worth the effort: for making Pasta, it is more efficient than Raw Meat, so a successful hunt gives better returns for cooking.
