Jinxed Shinplates

Jinxed Shinplates are a wearable armor item that provides protection while behaving differently from standard repairable gear. They cannot be repaired normally, but instead regenerate durability over time, making them a self-sustaining piece of equipment if left equipped or stored long enough.

Their defining mechanic is durability recovery: Jinxed Shinplates restore 2 durability every 60 seconds. Although they have a listed durability of 20, the game does not consider them fully repaired until durability is above 20, so the displayed value can continue rising until it reaches 21 or 22. This makes them slightly unusual compared to most equipment, since their recovery can overshoot the apparent maximum rather than stopping exactly at the listed cap.

• Cannot be repaired through normal repair methods.
• Regenerates 2 durability per minute.
• Has a listed durability of 20, but full repair is only registered when durability goes above that value.
• May continue regenerating to 21 or 22 before the game treats it as fully repaired.
