Mutant Hissbine Seed

Can only be planted - mutation incompatible with Research Chamber.
Overview
Mutant Hissbine Seed is a seed obtained from Mutant Hissbine, a hostile flora that spawns underground on all planets. Like other dangerous plants, it can be dug up with the Terrain Tool, and the plant may drop a seed when removed, allowing it to be replanted elsewhere.
Mutant Hissbine itself attacks by spraying an acid cloud at close range. There are three varieties: Normal, Vibrant, and Dull. Their acid clouds deal different amounts of damage, with Normal being the least dangerous and Dull the most dangerous. More difficult planets tend to have more dangerous variants.
As with other plant seeds in Astroneer, the main use of Mutant Hissbine Seed is to grow the corresponding flora again after digging it up. Since hostile plants can also drop research samples when destroyed, it is often worth removing them carefully instead of simply avoiding them.
- Mutant Hissbine is found underground on all planets.
- Its variants differ in how much damage their acid cloud deals.
- The seed can be collected after uprooting the plant and planted again later.
- Hostile flora in general can be destroyed with the Terrain Tool and may drop 1 to 3 Research Samples.
