Interior Doorway

The Interior Doorway is a furniture item available only from the display at Furniture Shop Deed. The display sits in the corner of the shop behind where Melvin normally stands, and it rotates between Interior Doorway, Interior Half Wall, and Interior Wall. As a result, players cannot buy it from a fixed stock; they must wait for the display to cycle to this piece.

Interior Doorway is part of the set of interior partition pieces that interact with wallpaper in a special way. When wallpaper designs are applied indoors, the same design is also applied to any Interior Doorway, Interior Half Wall, and Interior Wall placed inside the house. This makes it useful for keeping interior partitions visually matched with the surrounding room.

Outdoors, wallpaper can also be applied directly to an Interior Doorway. In that case, the wallpaper appears on both sides of the item, and the wallpaper itself is not consumed. It remains in the player’s inventory, which allows the same wallpaper to be reused repeatedly or swapped for a different design at any time. This makes the item especially convenient for decorative testing and for changing exterior layouts without spending extra materials.
