Cryo Spear

Cryo Spear is a spear weapon dropped by Cryo Queen and can also be crafted at a Fallen Anvil. It is a ranged-melee hybrid weapon: when used to attack, it launches a Frost Shard that slowly travels outward from the spear tip, dealing additional damage on top of the spear’s normal hit.

The crafting recipe is:

• 1 Cryo Spear
• 20 Cryo Essence
• Crafted at a Fallen Anvil

Its extra projectile makes it more useful than a standard spear in situations where you can keep space between yourself and enemies, since the spawned Frost Shard adds damage without requiring a separate attack. Because the shard moves slowly, the weapon works best when you can predict enemy movement or hold targets in place long enough for both the spear strike and the shard to connect.
