Gold Ore
Overview
Gold Ore is a crafting material mainly used to make Gold Bar. It appears in all underground caves and is recognized by the rock-like node with golden cuts visible in the stone. When mined, each deposit drops 2-3 ore.
Since it is an underground cave resource, Gold Ore is typically collected while exploring and mining other stone and ore veins. Its main purpose is refining into bars, so it is usually worth gathering whenever encountered, even if a player is not actively looking for gold equipment yet. Like other raw ore materials, it serves as a basic step in the progression from mined resources to usable crafted metal items.
