Ivy Ore

Ivy Ore is a crafting material mainly used to make Ivy Bar. It is found in Swamp Caves, where it appears as a rock with green cuts. Each rock drops 2–3 ores when mined.

A Runic Pickaxe or better is required to mine Ivy Ore, so it cannot be collected with an early-game pickaxe. Once gathered, it is primarily valuable as a smelting and crafting ingredient rather than as a raw resource, since its main use is turning into Ivy Bars for further progression.

In practice, Ivy Ore is most efficient to collect when exploring Swamp Caves thoroughly, since the deposits are embedded in the cave terrain and can be easy to miss at a glance. Bringing the proper pickaxe tier before entering the area is important, otherwise the ore cannot be harvested at all.
