Mysterious Portal

The Mysterious Portal is a summoning item used to call in Evil's Protector, the game’s first boss. It is a night-only item, so it cannot be used during the day and must be saved until after dark before it will activate.

Its main source is the Forest Caves, where it can drop from all monsters and chests at a 1% chance. That makes repeated exploration of Forest Caves the most direct way to obtain it, since every chest and defeated enemy there contributes to the same small drop pool. Before Evil's Protector has been defeated, it can also occasionally drop from Zombies and Zombie Archers in Snow Caves, giving players an additional early source while progressing toward the first boss.

Because the item is tied to the first boss encounter, it serves as a clear progression gate: find the portal, wait for night, and then use it to begin the fight. The early availability of Snow Caves drops means players may encounter it before fully focusing on Forest Caves, but the Forest Caves remain the broader and more consistent farming location.
