Ruby Shields

Ruby Shields is a summon weapon crafted at the Tungsten Workstation. When used, it summons up to 6 gemstones that orbit around the player rather than pursuing enemies. These gemstones act as a defensive barrier and will block any non-piercing projectile.

Each gemstone breaks if it comes into contact with a projectile or a hostile creature, so the weapon is best used as a temporary shield rather than a permanent defense. Because the gemstones do not track targets, positioning matters if you want them to intercept incoming shots effectively.

Ruby Shields does not use any summon slots, which makes it useful alongside another summon weapon for added summon damage. It does not stack with Frost Piercer or Reapers Call, but it does stack with Slime Canister.
