Birch Bed

Birch Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms and to function as a bed. It is crafted at a Carpenters Bench, and it belongs to the broader set of beds in the game.

Like other beds, Birch Bed sets the player’s spawn point, provides healing while sleeping, and fast-forwards time by 20×. In multiplayer, time only fast-forwards when every player is in a bed.

• If the bed that sets your spawn point is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to a location near the elder’s house.
• A bed only functions in a room up to 500 tiles in size. If the room is larger than this, the game shows the message “Cannot Set Spawn Outside.”
