Coconut Sapling

Coconut Sapling is a plantable object that can be placed on Terrain Tiles. Once planted, it grows into a Coconut Tree, which then produces Coconuts.

Coconut Saplings become available from the Farmer after the Pirate Captain has been defeated. They can also be obtained by cutting down Coconut Trees in the Desert Biome, making them both a renewable crop starter and a way to expand coconut production once a desert source has been found.

Because the sapling must be planted on Terrain Tiles, it is most useful in prepared farm areas rather than on mixed or decorative ground. After it matures, the resulting Coconut Tree can be harvested for Coconuts, giving players a steady supply of a food and crafting ingredient tied to desert exploration.
