Oak Sapling

Oak Saplings are a planting item used to grow oak trees. They are obtained by cutting down Oak Trees in the Forest Biome, making them a renewable way to regrow wood sources after clearing an area.

Oak Saplings can be planted on terrain tiles, where they will eventually mature into oak trees. Their growth time is 30–45 minutes, so they are mainly useful for long-term forest regeneration rather than immediate resource gain. Because they need a proper terrain tile to be planted, it is practical to reserve open ground for replanting after harvesting wood.
