Joy Box

A device that receives signals and plays video and sound. Shows entertaining videos, no matter the distance.
Overview
Joy Box is a service building that does nothing on its own. It has no practical function unless a Broadcast Studio has also been built and assigned an A_Ratizen to operate it, at which point it can receive the broadcast signal and display video.
Its behavior changed in version 1.0.0120: the displayed video now switches depending on the gender of the A_Ratizen assigned to the Broadcast Studio. Before that update, it used a single older video display. Like other service facilities, Joy Box cannot be used if the assigned A_Ratizen at the Broadcast Studio is away from their post.
A few practical points follow from this behavior:
- Joy Box is not self-sufficient; it is only active when paired with an operating Broadcast Studio.
- If the Broadcast Studio loses its assigned worker, Joy Box stops being usable.
- Building multiple Broadcast Studios allows continuous, 24-hour live broadcasting.
- The displayed content depends on the Broadcast Studio worker after version 1.0.0120, so the assigned A_Ratizen determines which version of the video appears.
