Wolfram Plate

Overview
Wolfram Plate is a crafting material used in various recipes. It is produced from Wolfram Bar in the Fabricator and serves as a component for multiple mid- to high-tier items such as Electromagnetic Coil, Heat Resistant Sheet, Impeller, and Supermagnet.
Wolfram Plate is obtained by converting Wolfram Bar into a plate at a Fabricator. The Fabricator recipe consumes 1 Wolfram Bar and takes 1 second to produce 1 Wolfram Plate. The recipe for Wolfram Plate must be unlocked in the Recipe Station under the Fabricator category; unlocking the Wolfram Plate recipe requires 600 Wolfram Bar and 400 Data Points.
Wolfram Plate is used directly in several crafting recipes:
- Electromagnetic Coil: requires 6 Wolfram Plate plus 1 Inductor, 1 Pressurized Helium, and 1 Supermagnet; produced in the Mega Press and takes 4 seconds to craft.
- Heat Resistant Sheet: requires 1 Wolfram Plate, 2 Titanium Sheet, and 1 Glass; produced in the Furnace and takes 4 seconds to craft.
- Impeller: requires 1 Wolfram Plate, 2 Titanium Rod, 2 Heat Resistant Sheet, and 1 Stabilizer; produced in the Mega Press and takes 4 seconds to craft.
- Supermagnet: requires 5 Wolfram Plate, 5 Sulphuric Acid, and 2 Chemicals; produced in the Furnace and takes 3 seconds to craft.
Wolfram Plate appears in the game's export table for Corporations. Certain corporations accept goods at high levels and pay value for exports; for example, relevant corporation entries list Level and Value columns (these tables indicate trade relationships and rewards but do not change crafting mechanics).
- Craft Wolfram Bars first and then convert them at a Fabricator to Wolfram Plate to feed downstream recipes.
- Unlocking the Wolfram Plate recipe requires a substantial Wolfram Bar investment (600) and 400 Data Points, so unlock it when focusing on production chains that use Electromagnetic Coil, Supermagnet, Impeller, or Heat Resistant Sheet.
- Use the Mega Press for items that require multiple plates (Electromagnetic Coil, Impeller) and the Furnace for sheet- and magnet-based recipes (Heat Resistant Sheet, Supermagnet).
