Mutant Carp

The Mutant Carp is a unique fish that can be caught in The Sewers, specifically in the Mutant Bug Lair area. It is available year-round, and the other fishable catches there are Carp, Green Algae, and White Algae. Fishing in this location is dangerous because Mutant Flies continuously spawn and attack the player, so it is safest to fish right at the entrance before triggering any bugs.

Mutant Carp has a few practical uses outside of selling or general collection. It is not used in any quests or bundles, but it can be used in dyeing as a green dye at the dye pots in Emily's and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane. It can also be placed in a Fish Pond.

• Fish Pond capacity is 1 fish, and it cannot be increased.
• The only possible Fish Pond output is Mutant Carp Roe.
• At population 1, the pond has a 72% chance to produce an item and a 28% chance to produce nothing.
• The item produced grants 32 Fishing XP.
• The overall daily chance is 36% for item production and 64% for nothing.

Because the pond can only hold a single Mutant Carp, it functions more like a novelty or specialty pond than a scalable production setup. Its main value is the exclusive roe output rather than any expanded population rewards.
