Butterfly Powder

Butterfly Powder is an item that can be purchased from Krobus. Its only direct effect is on pets: using it on a pet permanently removes that pet from the Farm after a confirmation prompt appears. When this happens, the pet’s Pet Bowl becomes unassigned and can later be used for a new pet. If the removed pet was wearing a hat, the hat is dropped on the ground.

Outside of pet removal, Butterfly Powder has a few limited uses:

• It is not used in any bundles or quests.
• It can be used as a blue dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house.
• It can also serve as a blue dye in the Sewing Machine when used with a dyeable clothing item in the feed.

Because it is a specialty item rather than a progression material, Butterfly Powder is mainly relevant for players who want to change their pet setup or use it as a dye source.
