Mini-Obelisk

A Mini-Obelisk is a craftable item that can be placed on the farm in Stardew Valley. It is used in pairs: when two Mini-Obelisks are placed, they create a teleport link that allows the player to move from one to the other. The crafting recipe is obtained after completing the Wizard’s special order quest, A Curious Substance.

Mini-Obelisks can be placed anywhere within the boundaries of the farm, but they cannot be placed outside the farm, including inside buildings such as the farmhouse or sheds. A single Mini-Obelisk may be placed without issue, but it will not transport the player until a second one is placed. The game only allows two to be active on the farm at once; trying to place a third triggers an error message.

They have a few important restrictions:

• They do not function on Ginger Island.
• They cannot transport the horse.
• The player cannot interact with them while riding the horse.

Because they create instant movement between two fixed points, Mini-Obelisks are most useful for connecting distant parts of a large farm layout, such as crop fields, animal areas, and processing buildings.
