Prehistoric Rib

The Prehistoric Rib is an Artifact that can be found by digging up Artifact Spots in Pelican Town or on The Farm. It can also be dropped by a Pepper Rex, and a pet dog at maximum friendship can gift one to the player.

Donating a Prehistoric Rib to the Museum counts toward the total number of museum donations. Donating it together with the Prehistoric Vertebra rewards the Sloth Skeleton M statue. The item is also useful at the Bone Mill, where it can be turned into Quality Fertilizer, Speed-Gro, Deluxe Speed-Gro, or Tree Fertilizer.

• It is not used in any recipes.
• In tailoring, it can be used as a white dye in the Sewing Machine.

Gunther can also request 100 bone items of any combination for the Special Orders board quest “Fragments of the past,” which includes this item among the possible contributions while the quest is active. Completing that order rewards the player with the Bone Mill recipe.
