Bile Bomb

Handle with care.
Overview
Bile bomb is a thrown weapon crafted at the Workbench and stacks up to 50. It is made from bile bags, sap, and resin, making it a Mistlands-era bomb rather than a basic early-game consumable.
When thrown, a Bile bomb creates a fire-and-poison cloud with a radius of 4 meters that lasts for 10 seconds. Any creature inside the cloud, except the thrower, takes 15 fire damage over 5 seconds and 30 poison damage over 6 seconds. If an enemy remains in the cloud, the damage is refreshed, allowing the bomb to deal up to 45 fire damage and 80 poison damage, for 125 total damage. The damage is not affected by player skill bonuses, but it is reduced or negated by the target’s resistances.
Bile bags are obtained from Gjall in the Mistlands, while sap comes from Ancient Roots using the Sap Extractor and resin is commonly dropped by Greydwarfs, Greydwarf shamans, and Greydwarf brutes, with a chance to drop from chopped Birch trees and smaller Beech trees. Because the bomb’s cloud persists, it is best used to deny an area, punish enemies that clump together, or force foes to move out of cover.
