Honey

Honey is a common loot item found throughout Abiotic Factor. It appears in a wide variety of storage containers and work areas across multiple zones, making it one of the most broadly distributed pickup items in the game. It is not tied to a single region, and many of its spawns are in ordinary environmental containers such as lockers, file cabinets, toolboxes, shop counters, and desks.

In the Office Sector, Honey can be found on Level 2 in the Data Farm, in the gym locker room lockers, and in the Security Office lockers, the latter requiring a Keypad Hacker. It also appears on Level 3 in the Executive Offices and in the offices overlooking Silo 3. In Cascade Laboratories, Level 3 spawns include file cabinets in the Adjustment area upstairs and in the Control Center area, including the section with the small kitchen and refrigerator. Flathill also has several reliable locations, including the shop counters of Bounty Basket, Sweet Freeze, and Rewind Rentals, a bench near the Library entrance, the front desk of the Courthouse, and the Flathill Arcade.

Honey is also present in Manufacturing West, where it can be found inside and outside the Supply Room, in the elevator-down area from the Control Tower with radioactive waste and containers, in the mines area near the green pipe that requires an Optic Lens, around The Synchrotron, and inside Shipping. Some portal worlds can also provide repeatable sources; for example, in The Train, wooden boxes in one of the train cars can be broken for additional Hoses each time portal worlds reset.

Practical notes:

• Because Honey appears in so many ordinary containers, it is worth checking desks, lockers, cabinets, and counters whenever exploring a new area.
• Security Office lockers in the Office Sector require a Keypad Hacker, so that location is more efficient once that tool is available.
• Flathill and the Office Sector are especially dense with spawn points, making them good areas to sweep when looking for loot.
• The item’s icon uses a U.S. dollar note, even though the game takes place inside Cascade in Australia.
