Mountaineer Helmet

The Mountaineer Helmet is a piece of protective gear associated with the Mountaineer enemy. It can be obtained by striking a Mountaineer in the head with either a Blunt melee weapon or a Bullet-based ranged weapon, with a chance for the helmet to be knocked off. This can still happen even after the Mountaineer has been killed, making it possible to recover the helmet from the corpse.

Despite its appearance, it does not count as part of the Mountaineer Armor Set. That means it is visually related to the set, but it is not treated as a set piece for set bonuses or collection purposes.
