Refrigerator

The Refrigerator is a piece of furniture used as a kitchen fixture and storage appliance. It appears as a placeable household object in several indoor areas throughout the game, especially in kitchens, break rooms, supply rooms, and office-like spaces. Multiple color variants also exist, including white, red, and blue.

Refrigerators can be found in a wide range of locations across the map, making them one of the more common environmental furniture pieces tied to domestic or worksite interiors. Notable locations include the kitchen and Supply Room inside Shipping at Manufacturing West, the Flathill Syrup Company building kitchen in Flathill, and several rooms in Cascade Laboratories and the reactor facilities.

• Manufacturing West: inside Shipping, in the kitchen; also in the Supply Room containing a computer, a television, a Power Cell, and some Soil Bags.
• Flathill: in the Flathill Syrup Company building kitchen, across the bridge from the Library.
• Cascade Laboratories: in the Containment area near the Containment Robot; in a Control Center kitchen near the keypad that opens the area’s entrance; and in another Control Center area with many file cabinets and two paintings.
• Furniture Store: on the first floor, where three refrigerators of different colors can be found.
• Reactors: in the Power Services area inside the building with the fireplace; in the Dusk Reactor area, in a small kitchen near the second-level office cubicles and desks; and in the Gale Reactor area, in the lower section’s large room with two vending machines and a kitchen.

Because refrigerators are placed in kitchens and supply spaces, they serve as environmental set dressing that helps identify residential, service, or office-adjacent interiors. In locations with multiple interior rooms, they are useful landmarks for navigation, especially when searching for storage rooms or back-of-house spaces. The existence of multiple color variants at the Furniture Store also suggests that the Refrigerator can appear in different cosmetic styles rather than as a single fixed model.
