Ancient Crate

A mysteriously glowing container holding ancient goods.
Overview
Ancient Crate is a destructible environmental object that generates in the Clay Caves and Forgotten Ruins. It appears as part of those underground areas’ natural clutter rather than as a crafted building or a loot container with a unique interaction. Because it is a scene object, it is mainly encountered while exploring, mining, or clearing paths through those biomes.
In practice, Ancient Crate is relevant for navigation and terrain management. If it blocks movement or access to nearby tiles, it can be removed like other destructible props, making it useful to clear out tight passages and open work areas. Since it belongs to biome generation, it helps reinforce the visual identity of the Clay Caves and Forgotten Ruins and can be used as a marker that the player is in one of those regions.
- Generates in the Clay Caves and Forgotten Ruins.
- Functions as a destructible world object.
- Can be cleared away when it gets in the way of movement, building, or mining.
