Multiplayer Guide: Boss Fight Resets
Multiplayer in Core Keeper changes how encounters are started, sustained, and reset. In group play, some bosses can be interrupted entirely if everyone dies or leaves the fight area, so team positioning and recovery matter as much as damage output.
Boss fight persistence in multiplayer
Omoroth
If all players die or leave the area while fighting Omoroth, the boss submerges and must be re-summoned with a new Expert Lure. This makes wipe recovery more costly in multiplayer, since abandoning the arena fully resets the encounter.
Atlantean Worm
If all players die or leave the area while fighting the Atlantean Worm, it submerges and must be brought to the surface again with a new Bait Pillar. As with other multiplayer boss fights, losing everyone at once ends the current attempt and forces a full re-initiation.
Practical multiplayer implications
- Keep at least one player alive and in the arena if you want to preserve an active boss fight.
- Avoid everyone leaving the boss area during recovery, since that triggers a reset.
- Bring the correct summon item again after a full wipe:
- Expert Lure for Omoroth
- Bait Pillar for the Atlantean Worm
