Nilipede

Overview
The Nilipede is a common enemy native to the Shimmering Frontier. It is made up of multiple segments and can move through walls, only surfacing when a player is close enough to trigger it.
Nilipedes spawn on Crystal Block ground, often in groups, during the initial generation of an area. They do not respawn once an area has been generated, so their presence is tied to unexplored terrain rather than ongoing enemy activity.
Because Nilipedes can stay hidden inside walls until approached, they are easy to lose track of in combat. Area-wide attacks and effects that reveal their position are especially useful. An upgraded Sticky Stick can almost completely immobilize them, making it easier to control their movement. The Lava Battle Axe is also highly effective against them, and its Wide Slash secondary attack can hit multiple Nilipedes at once. Its burning effect is particularly helpful because it lets the player see where they are inside walls, reducing the chance of being surprised by hidden segments.
