Caveling Hunter

The Caveling Hunter is a common enemy native to Azeos' Wilderness. It disguises itself as a Bush and attacks from range, making it easy to mistake for scenery until it reveals itself. When the player gets close enough, it switches to a melee attack.

Caveling Hunters primarily spawn on Lush Moss placed in any biome, so they can appear outside of Azeos' Wilderness when that terrain is present. Their glowing red eyes are the easiest way to spot them from a distance before they ambush the player.

• They begin combat as a ranged threat, then change to melee once approached.
• The red glow from their eyes can reveal a disguised Hunter even when it is still hidden as a Bush.
• They appear to use a Flintlock Musket, which matches their ranged behavior.
