Bat Minion

Bat Minion increases the distance at which the player can see ores through tiles and in darkness by 2–10 tiles. The Core Iris provides the same effect.

This makes it a useful visibility boost for mining in unlit tunnels, especially when searching through walls for ore veins or working in dark areas where ambient light is low. The effect is purely about detection range and does not change mining speed or ore yield.
