Cartography Table

The Cartography Table is a furniture item used to share map progress between players. Interacting with it opens a server-wide map, and any player who uses it adds their explored map progress to the table, allowing other players to copy that progress for themselves.

In practice, the Cartography Table is most useful in multiplayer worlds where players explore different directions and want to keep their maps synchronized. By sharing progress through the table, a player can quickly gain access to areas another player has already revealed, reducing the need to re-explore the same terrain.

• It only serves as a map-sharing tool; it does not replace exploration, but it does make group progress much easier to coordinate.
• Because the map is server-wide, it benefits everyone in the world rather than only the player who placed it.
• Players should use it regularly after exploring new areas so the shared map stays up to date.

There is also a multiplayer bug associated with the Cartography Table: if two players use it at the same time, the multiplayer session can close and the Game ID may display as "none." Exiting to the main menu and reopening the world creates a new Game ID.
