Cipher Parchment

Cipher Parchment is an item associated with the Forlorn Metropolis. It appears in a special scene there, where a room is filled with a large number of Stone Shelves and an Ancient Chest is hidden behind the middle shelf. It is also a required crafting material at the Ancient Forge.

At the Ancient Forge, Cipher Parchment is used in the recipe for Soul Seeker and Ancient Pickaxe. The recipe also calls for Gold Bar, Scarlet Bar, Octarine Bar, Galaxite Bar, and Ancient Gemstone in large quantities, making Cipher Parchment part of some of the game’s most advanced crafting.

Because it is tied to high-end Forge crafting, Cipher Parchment is worth collecting whenever the Forlorn Metropolis scene is found. Exploring the shelf-filled room carefully is important, since the hidden Ancient Chest is easy to miss.
