Copper Ore

Copper Ore is a common ore found abundantly in the Undergrounds. It also appears in smaller quantities in the Clay Caves and Forgotten Ruins, making it one of the first metal resources players encounter while exploring beyond the starting area.

As the most basic ore tier, Copper Ore is the foundation for early metal progression. It is smelted into Copper Bars, which are then used to craft upgraded tools, armor, and several crafting stations. Because of this, it remains useful well into progression even though it is easy to find early on. Players often stockpile it while exploring, since large amounts are needed for multiple early-game upgrades and base improvements.
