Snow Hood

The Snow Hood is a rare clothing item obtained as a random drop when smashing a Snow Man during Winter snowfalls. Snow falls happen on random days in Winter, and the Weather Station can be used to check for the snow symbol that indicates one is coming.

To make a Snow Man, find two Big Snow Balls during a day with snowfall. There are about 100 Big Snow Balls that can appear during a snowfall. Pick one up, carry it, and carefully throw it on top of another Big Snow Ball to form the Snow Man. Creating the Snow Man awards 5 Snow Balls, and smashing it afterward can drop the Snow Hood along with additional Snow Balls.

A Snow Man is also a useful source of Snow Balls beyond the hood itself. In total, making and then smashing one Snow Man yields 11 Snow Balls: 5 from creating it and 6 more from breaking it. Those Snow Balls can then be used for other snow-based crafting, so even unsuccessful hood farming is still productive.
