Relay Station

Hive Core]] will dispatch Relay Stations as needed to travel to planets and construct Planetary Base]]. Once a planetary base has been completed, the Relay Station will remain above it, taking on the vital role of linking the planetary base with the Hive. It sends out transport ships to travel between the Hive and the planetary base, carrying matter produced by the planetary base to the Hive and transporting energy produced by the Hive back to the planetary base. The Relay Station is also the Dark Fog’s final safeguard: if the planetary base is destroyed, as long as the Relay Station still contains matter and energy, it will attempt to rebuild a planetary base; if the Hive’s central core is destroyed, the Relay Station will also dispatch transport ships in an attempt to rebuild the central core. Given the Relay Station’s important role, attacking it means all-out war with the Dark Fog. Some unfortunate engineers have suffered greatly for this, even though they were merely trying to test the functions of the Missile Turret.
