Overview

The Personal roboport is an equipment item that allows the player’s construction robots to work while the player is away from a roboport network. It affects only construction robots, not logistic robots. When a blueprint is placed, the robots will build only the structures that can be assembled from materials the player is carrying.

Each equipped Personal roboport adds more active robots, increases the area in which they can operate, and provides additional charging ports. More than one can be equipped at the same time, and the effects stack. With multiple units installed, more personal construction robots can work simultaneously, they can operate farther from the player, and more robots can recharge at once.

  • Each Personal roboport adds 10 active robots and 2 charging ports.
  • The internal energy buffer holds 35 MJ, which is close to the capacity of two Personal batteries.
  • If a personal robot runs out of energy, it slows down but continues trying to catch up with the player.
  • The total activation range for N equipped Personal roboports is calculated as sqrt(N × 30 × 30) and then rounded to the nearest integer.

The scaling of the activation area increases gradually as more units are equipped: 1 gives 10 robots and a 30×30 area, 2 gives 20 robots and a 42×42 area, 3 gives 30 robots and a 52×52 area, 4 gives 40 robots and a 60×60 area, 5 gives 50 robots and a 67×67 area, 6 gives 60 robots and a 73×73 area, 7 gives 70 robots and a 79×79 area, 8 gives 80 robots and an 85×85 area, and 9 gives 90 robots and a 90×90 area.
