Overview

Blood Volley is an upgraded version of Blood Bolt. Instead of launching a single shot, it fires three similar homing projectiles at once, with each projectile dealing lower damage than the original Blood Bolt. This makes it a multi-hit ranged attack rather than a single heavy projectile, and its homing behavior lets it stay relevant against enemies that move quickly or change direction during a fight.

In practice, the weapon favors consistency over burst damage. Since all three projectiles track targets, it is easier to land hits than with a purely straight-flying attack, especially in crowded fights or against enemies that do not remain still. The tradeoff is that each projectile is weaker, so its damage is spread across multiple hits instead of being concentrated in one shot. That means its effectiveness comes from getting all three projectiles to connect, rather than relying on a single impact.

Because Blood Volley is an upgraded form of Blood Bolt, it sits naturally in the same progression line and serves as the stronger variant for players who want a homing ranged option with more projectiles. Its behavior also makes it useful when accuracy matters, since the homing effect helps compensate for missed aim or evasive targets. At the same time, the lower damage per projectile means it is less focused on spike damage and more on repeated, reliable pressure.

  • Fires 3 homing projectiles.
  • Each projectile deals less damage than Blood Bolt.
  • Stronger in situations where multiple hits are likely to connect.
  • Particularly useful against fast-moving or evasive enemies.
