Fins

Fins is a trinket found in surface ruin chests, and it can also be fished up on the surface at a low rate. It is an early movement-focused accessory that improves underwater travel rather than combat or crafting.

When equipped, Fins increases swim speed by 100%, doubling the player’s swimming speed. This makes it especially useful for exploring water-heavy areas, crossing lakes and rivers more quickly, and moving through submerged terrain with less delay. Because it only affects swimming, it is most valuable in worlds where water barriers or underwater routes slow progress.

As a trinket, Fins occupies the accessory slot and competes with other mobility or utility trinkets. Its effect is straightforward and immediate, so it is best used whenever a route includes repeated swimming.
