Heavy Hammer

Heavy Hammer is an early-game melee weapon that also has a ranged component: when swung, it throws stone projectiles that travel in a straight line toward the cursor. This makes it unusual among starter weapons, since it can hit enemies from a distance while still functioning as a melee weapon.

It can be found in chests in Forest caves, where it has a 25% chance to appear alongside one of three other loot items: Zephyr Charm, Shine Belt, or Noble Horseshoe. Because it is easy to obtain early, it is a strong beginner weapon thanks to its decent damage, lack of ammo requirements, and ability to strike from range.
