Pirate Sheath

Pirate Sheath is a trinket slot boosting item dropped by the Pirate Captain. Using it increases the maximum number of unlocked trinket slots to 6, making it a powerful progression item for characters still building out their accessory setup.

It has a few important limitations and interactions. Pirate Sheath does not drop if the player already has 6 trinket slots, including cases where that limit has already been reached by using the Wizard Socket before the V0.23.0 update. If Pirate Sheath is used before the Empty Pendant, it raises the slot count from 4 to 6 and prevents the Empty Pendant from being used afterward. This makes the order in which these slot-upgrading items are consumed important, since using Pirate Sheath first can lock in the higher slot cap and skip the intended progression path through the Empty Pendant.
