Plains Grass Seeds

Plains Grass Seeds are a terrain-conversion item used to create Plains Grass on Dirt Tiles. Using the seeds on dirt turns the tile into Plains Grass, while Overgrown Plains Grass Seeds create a darker variant instead. The resulting tile is associated with the Plains Biome and is the surface that Plains Grass grows on.

Plains Grass itself is a naturally occurring tile in the Plains Biome. It is destroyed when dug with a shovel and cannot be obtained or crafted, so the seeds are the practical way to place it intentionally for landscaping or biome-themed builds.

• Use them on Dirt Tiles to place Plains Grass.
• Overgrown Plains Grass Seeds place a darker version of the tile.
• The tile spreads slowly to nearby dirt tiles over time.
• Plains Grass is not a crafted block and is removed by shoveling.
