Potato
Overview
Potato is a Raw Food item found in the Swamp Caves and Desert Caves. It can also be obtained by planting Potato Seeds in Farmland.
Potato can be consumed directly or used as an ingredient for Cooking. When eaten by the player, it grants +0.25 Health Regen for 4 minutes. When consumed by NPCs, it gives +10% Happiness. Its spoilage time is 8 hours.
Because it is both a forageable cave food and a farmable crop, Potato is a useful early food source for sustaining exploration and supporting a growing settlement.
