Spider Claw

Spider Claw is a sword-type weapon dropped by Queen Spider with a 25% chance. It has low damage and very short attack range, but its extremely fast swing speed gives it high damage per second. Among swords, it is the fastest weapon in the game and also has the shortest reach.

Because of its speed, Spider Claw rewards aggressive close-range combat and performs best when a player can stay on top of a target. Its low range makes spacing important, since it is less forgiving than longer melee weapons. Despite that drawback, its rapid attacks let it deliver consistent DPS for a sword of its tier.
