Wormhole Locket

Wormhole Locket is a consumable item that permanently increases your maximum trinket slots to 8. It is a one-time-use progression item, so once it has been consumed it cannot be used again.

Using a Wormhole Locket sets your trinket capacity to 8 as long as you have fewer than 7 trinket slots at the time of use, or if you have not yet used Wizard Socket, Empty Pendant, or Pirate Sheath. In practice, it is best saved for the point when you are ready to commit to the 8-slot setup, because using it will prevent you from using those other trinket-slot-increasing items afterward. This makes it an important choice in character progression rather than a simple temporary boost.

Wormhole Locket is obtained as a settlement quest reward. Since it is tied to quest progression and can only be consumed once, it functions as a permanent upgrade that helps define a character build around a larger trinket loadout.
