Bamboo Double Bed

The Bamboo Double Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms, and it can be crafted at a Carpenters Bench. It belongs to the bed family, so it is not just decorative: it also functions as a bed for sleeping and spawning.

Like other beds, it sets your spawn point, provides healing while sleeping, and can fast-forward time at 20× speed when used properly. In multiplayer, all players must be in a bed for time to fast-forward. If the bed used as your spawn point is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to near the Elder's House.

A bed will only function if the room it is in is not too large; the maximum room size is 500 tiles. If that limit is exceeded, the game displays the message "Cannot Set Spawn Outside."
