Cooling Box

Overview
The Cooling Box is a storage object used to keep food fresh for longer. It reduces the spoilage rate of any perishable item placed inside it by 75%, meaning food lasts four times as long before spoiling. It can be crafted at the Workstation and is part of the game’s item storage furniture, alongside other Containers.
A Cooling Box has 40 item slots, so it functions as a fairly large food storage container rather than a small specialized cooler. Its key limitation is that it must be fueled with Iceblossom to keep its cooling effect active. Each Iceblossom provides 4 minutes of fuel time, so the box needs occasional refueling if it is being used to preserve perishables over time.
If the Cooling Box has no fuel, it behaves like a normal Chest. That makes it safe to leave in a base setup even when unfueled, but it will no longer slow spoilage until it is supplied with Iceblossom again. Because of this, it is most useful in kitchens, food storage rooms, and any base where you want to stockpile cooked meals or raw ingredients without them expiring too quickly.
