Dryad Bed

Overview
The Dryad Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms and set a player spawn point. It can be crafted at a Carpenters Bench and counts as one of the game’s beds, so it follows the normal bed rules for sleeping and time progression.
Like other beds, the Dryad Bed can be used to heal while sleeping and to fast-forward time at a 20× rate. In multiplayer, time only advances when all players are in a bed. If a bed that is set as your spawn point is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to a location near the Elder’s House.
A bed will only function as a spawn point if the room around it is within the size limit. The largest room size a bed can support is 500 tiles; if the room is larger than that, the game shows the message “Cannot Set Spawn Outside.” For that reason, beds are best placed in compact, enclosed bedrooms rather than large decorative spaces.
Because it is both functional and decorative, the Dryad Bed is useful for early base setup and for making a dedicated sleeping room that can also serve as a spawn location. If you are building a multiplayer base, make sure every player has access to a bed when the group wants to skip the night.
